- A man in sweats and a baseball cap carrying a gym bag. Even if he’s just the team manager or a fan.
- Absolutely zero facial hair, so there’s no chance of chin burn after a good make-out session.
- Enough cologne that you can’t help but notice if you’re standing nearby, but that that doesn’t linger five minutes after he’s walked by.
- An attentive father.
- A bartender in a completely packed room who finally gets to you and hands you your drink with a wink and an apologetic “This one’s on me.” He may never give it a second thought, but he makes me feel too important to be kept waiting.
- Catching someone singing who doesn’t realize they have a great voice.
- Being serenaded by someone who absolutely realizes they have a great voice.
- Comic book geeks who recognize the cameo of the artist in the new Spider Man movie.
- A home cooked meal, even if it’s just Mac ‘n Cheese.
- The parade of suits milling around Wall Street around lunchtime. Particularly those who still manage to look as comfortable as if they were in pajamas.
