Damn It!

Met an ADORABLE guy tonight. From the moment we met we were engaged in conversation. We were at a mutual friend’s birthday party and both didn’t know many other people.

We live in the same neighborhood. He sings and does open mike nights. If he went to talk to someone else across the room he didn’t say “excuse me” but said “c’mon, let’s go over here”. And told me I was beautiful.

I meet his friends. We all get into a conversation about who they would be if they were on Entourage. He of course is Vincent Chase.

He spots tall gorgeous blonde across the room and excuses himself. I continue to talk to his friends (who are great guys, but totally not attracted to them). I catch his eye across the room and he makes silly faces at me.

End of the night- he and gorgeous blonde are obviously leaving together. I’m sitting at the bar next to them, pretending not to be bothered and carrying on conversation, pretending I’m not dying inside. Wishing I hadn’t just thrown on jeans to come out to the local bar after work, because she is in a little black dress and heels.

Bartender gives me a shot before bed because I tipped her well all night. They leave to go home for an amazing night of God knows what. I come home thinking maybe I should have gone blonde.

  1. That is so not fair - he should have gone home with you - don’t go blonde!

If even in your jeans you went to a bar and spoke to you it shows that you are naturally beautiful and even when you do get dolled up you will a COMPLETE knockout.

At least you got a free shot!
