Wouldn’t it be interesting if we had an entire library of diaries? That way we would get people’s actual feelings at the time of events, without the editing and hindsight of history books.
And it would be awesome if every newspaper in the world started a column where they took kid’s insight and opinions on the events of the week. They’re so damn honest, and what they see as important can really put things in perspective.
