You know what I’m tired of hearing? Eli Manning being knocked for not being the best looking quarterback.. Sure he’s up for comparison against Tom Brady, who practically has a male modeling campaign and fragrance lined up for the off-season, but he’s not a bad looking guy.

I actually like the fact that he maintains a bit of the rugged side of football- the guy who cares less about helmet hair and designer suits to be photographed in on the walk out of the stadium and more about getting the ball in his player’s hands. I loved his messy post-game hair as he was interviewed and his oversized nose.

But honestly, I hate that we have to hold our champions of every accomplishment up to being evaluated by a standard of beauty. The man just won a Super Bowl and there is equal time on sports center being devoted to the curse of bombshell celebrity girlfriends and their effect on players. Give the guy his moment of glory, and a little credit for looking good in a jersey.
