Choosing flats over heels that night because before you’ve even left the house you can’t get excited about the possibility of kicking them off at the end of the date-

wearing pumps to something almost always guarantees I am going to get lost, and will be forced to walk WAY TOO FAR in uncomfortable shoes.

This is a tried and true proven fact in my life.
